Dentures and Partial Dentures in Cheshire CT

older couple smiling & hugging | dentures cheshire ctIf you are missing all or some of your teeth, you’ve probably been carefully considering your options. Missing teeth can pose a serious problem, making it difficult for you to eat fresh, nutritious foods and making smiling awkward and uncomfortable.

We think it’s important for you to be able to smile comfortably and confidently, and many of our patients are smiling again thanks to dentures and partials.

If you’ve been shying away from dentures because you are imagining the blocky, ill-fitting, fake-looking dentures your grandparents used to wear, you’ll want to schedule an appointment with Cheshire dentists Dr. Marandino and Dr. Fletcher and find out what’s new in the world of dentures.

How Can Dentures Improve My Life?

Dentures in Cheshire have come a long way from the days of awkward fits and unnatural appearances. Modern dentures are designed to restore your smile, improve functionality, and boost your confidence.

Restores Function

Dentures allow you to chew, speak, and smile with ease. No more avoiding your favorite foods or feeling self-conscious during conversations!

Improves Appearance

Dentures fill in gaps and restore facial structure, helping to prevent the sunken look that often comes with tooth loss.

Enhances Comfort

Our modern, custom-made dentures are tailored to fit comfortably and securely so they don't slip or shift in the mouth.

What Are Dentures and Partials?

Dentures and partials are a special type of prosthetic that you wear over your gums to replace missing teeth. Complete dentures replace all of the teeth on your upper or lower arch (or both), and partial dentures are used when you still have some of your own teeth.

Modern dentures and partials are custom-made from natural-looking materials. They are made to be flexible and fit securely so that you can smile, speak, and eat without worry. Each tooth is made and placed individually, which contributes to a lifelike appearance. These subtle differences work in harmony to help give you back a natural-looking smile.

When we are designing your dentures, we’ll also keep in mind details like the shape of your face and your coloration to make sure that your dentures will blend in beautifully and look right with your facial structure and skin tone. Our goal is to create comfortable, attractive dentures that help you regain your lifestyle.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Many patients worry about a secure fit. After all, dentures are designed to be removable. Using dental implants, we can actually create dentures that “snap” into place so that they are stable and won’t budge.

We surgically place dental implants at strategic points in your jawbone. Once they heal, they are fitted with a special snap that corresponds to snaps on the frame of your dentures. These dentures are easy to place and can also be safely and comfortably removed when necessary.

Implant-supported dentures don’t just help hold your dentures more securely in place; they also have a hidden advantage. Unlike dentures, the implants will help you retain your dental bone, which will prevent changes in the shape of your gums.

Are Dentures in Cheshire the Right Choice?

Call our Cheshire dental office to schedule a consultation with either Dr. Marandino or Dr. Fletcher. We will perform a thorough examination and determine whether dentures are the right choice. We’ll also help you decide if implants to support your dentures would be helpful.

We know that budgetary concerns often factor into these kinds of important decisions. Many dental insurance plans do cover dentures and partials, and we are happy to review your coverage. We also accept financing from CareCredit and CitiHealth, and we can help you apply for these credit options.
